Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte in Art
First topic message reminder :
Anna Amber has some wonderful pictures of Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte de France.

On horseback in a white petticoat.
I am guessing this is from after the Revolution, perhaps around the time of her marriage in 1799.

Mistakenly believing that she was pregnant in 1820, Marie-Therese posed for this portrait, reminiscent of the pregnant Gabrielle d’Estrees.

A satirical cartoon of the Duchesse d'Angouleme arriving at Rambouillet after Charles X and the Duc d'Angouleme had signed the abdication. It is sad to see her lampooned just as her mother was.

Interesting post about MTC and the Pavillon de Flore, where she lived.
Madame la duchesse d’Angoulême, daughter of Marie Antoinette, in her private salon in the Pavilion of Flora at the Tuileries Palace. 1814.
The Pavilion of Flora once connected the Tuileries Palace and the Louvre Palace. During the French Revolution it was primarily used as a meeting place for various commitees, including, at one time, the Committee of Public Safety. It is the only portion of the Tuileries palace which still exists today.

The Flight from Bordeaux, 1815
The daughter of Louis XVI gives the citizens feathers from her hat as souvenirs as she boards the ship for England.

Re: Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte in Art
Here's a few more
This one's lovely, I like what I think are lilies in her hair, and that she's carrying a laurel wreath. The lilies are of course a symbol of the French monarchy, and perhaps the laurel wreath is a nod to her maternal heritage since Antoinette was called the "Daughter of the Caesars".
...
And wow I never thought that deeply about this picture and I posted it on my blog months ago!
Here's a painting called "The Orphan of the Temple" showing her drawing or writing in the gardens:
And here she is in a blue striped dress, again holding lillies

Re: Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte in Art
Here is an image I just had to share, as soon as I saw it on http://vivelareine.tumblr.com/post/57395690493#notes:
It's a miniature portrait of all 4 of Marie Antoinette's children, Marie Therese Charlotte, Louis Joseph, Louis Charles, and baby Sophie. I've personally only seen a small handful of images even depicting Sophie, let alone contemporary ones. And never have I seen one of all four of the children together. Whoever bought this at auction is a very lucky person indeed to hold such a unique piece of history!

For the one of Madame Royale in the red gown, there's already of her wearing the same color, but the jewels and background are different.

Here is a lovely image I just posted on my tumblr
A large stained glass window in the Basilica of Sainte-Anne d’Auray. It was given to the church by Henri, the Comte de Chambord.
It portrays his mother, the Duchesse de Berry, and his aunt, the Duchesse D’Angoueleme, kneeling in prayer before a statue of Saint Anne, the patron saint of Brittany.
