As a side note, Emperor Franz Josef visited Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina and gave a gift of a great, beautiful rug to a local mosque. Today you can see the rug on display at that mosque. Mostar was an important commercial center and is now a fascinating place to visit today. The famed Old Bridge has been rebuilt after the 1990s Balkan War.
