Margaret Douglas, Countess of Lennox was the daughter of Margaret Tudor, Queen of Scotland and Archibald Douglas, Earl of Angus. She was the mother of Lord Darnley who was the second husband of Mary Queen of Scots. She witnessed many momentous events in Tudor and Stuart history.
