Hello from the sunny Mediterranean climes of Adelaide, South Australia.

A little about yours truly:

I am 27 years old and married to a lovely, lovely man who loves and respects me. He also understands (tolerates?) my love of the 18th century and Marie Antoinette, even if his political views do not align with the ideas of monarchy. He understands my historical fascination and encourages it.

I have been rather active in another MA forum and read Elena's lovely blog since 2007, it has taught me much more about MA and other aspects of the era, as well as Catholicism.

My other interests include: France, tea, flowers, food, fashion, art, music, 1960s, writing, walking, animals and gardening. I am a library technician by trade. This gives me access to first editions of some lovely MA related items in the State Library I worked at.

I look forward to joining the lovely members here in this online salon in some stimulating and enjoyable discussions!
