Empress Xiaozheyi of China

Post  princess garnet on Thu Mar 29, 2012 10:20 pm

Earlier this week Mad Monarchist featured Empress Xiaozheyi:

In the comment section, one of the poster asks why not make a movie of this. Well, historical drama series are a regular staple on both Chinese and Hong Kong TV so I'm sure any one of the Chinese imperial dynasties has been done at one time or another!
My mom has a set or two of DVD series of a TV drama set during the 19th century she bought while in Hong Kong last year.

Your mom was in Hong Kong? What was she doing there? Question
