One of the more enigmatic queens of England, we know precious little about her and her personal feelings. Was she a pawn in the strategies of her father and her husband? Or was she ambitious and a schemer? Did she know of her husband’s plans for taking the throne of England?   Read more here:  http://thefreelancehistorywriter.com/2015/06/12/anne-neville-queen-of-england/

Besides non-fiction, Anne Neville is mostly supporting character in historical fiction novels. For example, Shakespeare included her in his play Richard III. Most recently, Anne is the lead in The Kingmaker's Daughter by Philippa Gregory.

Have you read the novel The Reluctant Queen by Jean Plaidy? (It's part of her "Queens of England" series) I bought it when it was reissued several years ago. Anne "writes" her memoir close to her death, mentioning she's been ill.
If Anne's perspective of events in her fictional memoir about events seems limited at times or dramatic license is at play, bear in mind that Plaidy wrote the novel based on the historical research and resources available at that time. And as you write in your post, there's not much available about Anne.
Of note, Plaidy wrote the "Queens of England" series during the last years of her career, so the writing quality is different from her earlier novels. Despite the shortcomings, I enjoyed the novel.

Thanks for an interesting post!

Oh yes I read every Jean Plaidy book I could get my hands on when I was young.  LOL!!  It would be fun to read them again after all the history I've researched and studied since then.  Thanks for the reminder of good times.
