The itinerary of our Mary Queen of Scots tour included a visit to the Palace of Holyroodhouse and I looked forward to this with great anticipation. Since learning the Palace was the scene of the murder of David Rizzio, personal secretary of Queen Mary, I have wanted to see the room where it happened.
