Saying Hello to All
Memoir, I'm told, isn't a trusted substitute for history written by historians--but memoir that touches on history can help to illuminate previously unremarked-upon aspects of history. I'll be posting more, at a later time, about my recently-released memoir that's a new window on a certain portion of American history--and about how that book, and the formation of conscience depicted in its pages, relates to a Catholic worldview. Meanwhile, this pre-Baby Boom offspring of The Greatest Generation bids you good night.
